Teacher molests students during class, absconding

A school teacher allegedly molested his students, following which their parents created a ruckus at the school, the police said on Thursday.

Few students of a school in Kanpur have alleged that, Kamlakant Pandey, their Hindi-Sanskrit teacher, frequently molested them during the class in the name of bag-checking and also made their video clips on his mobile phone, police said.

Guardians of the students on Wednesday created a furore in the school, demanding action against the teacher following which the police registered a case against him, they said.  While further probe in the case is underway, the accused teacher is absconding, police said.
