MANGALORE: Until his arrival, JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy had kept the temple staff and party workers on their toes. Earlier, Kumaraswamy was scheduled to reach Dharmasthala on Sunday night. The temple staff had waited for the former CM until 1 am, before calling it quits. He arrived at Dharmasthala only on Monday morning with only a few leaders in JD(s) aware about the revised itinerary.Around 20 rooms had been booked at Shantivana Trust Nature Cure Center for JD(S) leaders. Initially, the leaders eagerly waiting to welcome their leaders with flower bouquets received messages from their leaders that Kumaraswamy would reach Dharmastala at around 9 am.Legislators and other party workers looking forward to their leader’s visit refused to have breakfast until 10 am. Expressing happiness over the oath issue MLC Sandesh Nagaraj believes that the issue would boost the party’s fortunes. Yeddyurappa plotting the downfall of Kumaraswamy, has fallen into a pit, he said. The leaders managed to keep the flock united by announcing fresh deadline for the arrival of their leader. Finally at around 11.20 am Kumaraswamy arrived at Nature Cure Centre along with MP Cheluvarayaswamy and other prominent leaders. After having a quick bath, he left to the temple at around 12 pm.MLC  E Krishnappa, MLAs Sunil Hegde, M T Krishnappa, C S Puttaraju, former Mysore mayor Sandesh Swamy, JD(S) Dakshina Kannada district president M B Sadashiva and Udupi District JD(S) president Deviprasad Shetty accompanied him on the occasion. As a precautionary measure, Annappa daivas shrines remained closed on Sunday and Monday.
