Three arrested for threatening businessmen

KOCHI: A team, led by Central Police SI Anand Lal, arrested three persons in connection with threatening a consultancy firm owner and his friend.The arrested, Riyas Rahman, 35, Siyad, 40, and Sayad Muhammed, 49, were remanded in judicial custody. Rahman, Siyad and Sayad were traced and nabbed from different locations in the city.The police are on the lookout for Vettil Suresh, a local goon, in connection with the case.  Rahman is wanted in many criminal cases, including one in which he cheated people from across the state to the tune of  Rs 150 crore.
