BANGALORE: In a bid to find out who is 'exploiting' who, the 'gloves' finally came off in the fight between the builders and the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and corporators.
This development comes a day after the Consortium of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) president Sushil Mantri alleged that they were being 'harassed' by a few corporators. The fuming corporators, united irrespective of parties, launched a tirade against the statements made by the CREDAI on Monday. Deputy Mayor Harish said that they would soon expose who has encroached upon land illegally and who is the defaulter. He also pointed out that there are many such irregularities that usurped during the administrative period. "There are many such buildings that have violated bylaws and we will review all of them," he said and added. "No corporator has the need to swoop down to the level of harassing anyone."
