New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi dismissed Karnataka Chief Minister D Kumaraswamy's remarks that he would quit rather than giving Cauvery Water to Tamil Nadu as 'childish'.

The TN CM said on Friday that none of the 10 former chief ministers of Karnataka had said such 'harsh and useless' words.

Karunanidhi voiced his opinions on the 'harsh' remarks of Kumaraswamy in the DMK's mouth piece Murasoli.

Even his father and former prime minister H D Deve Gowda might not accept Kumaraswamy's remarks as it would affect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of the nation, Karunanidhi asserted.
