The mishap took place near Kitwaria bypass when they were proceeding to Maihar for a tonsure ceremony when the accident occurred.
The deceased were identified as Ram Bhuvan Tiwari (47) and his daughter-in-law Priyanka Tiwari (24). The injured were rushed to the local hospital, they said.
