A sub-inspector posted at the Banna Devi police station in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh attempted to die by suicide after lying down on the railway track. However, an inspector and other police personnel pacified him and brought him to the police station.
It has been reported that Sub-Inspector Sachin Kumar was upset with the misbehavior he faced at the court. He claimed that he had presented five accused of a bike thief gang before the Magistrate. However, even then, the Magistrate misbehaved with him.
Sachin Kumar claimed that he was made to wait along with the bike thieves from 5 pm to 10 pm. He even charged that the magistrate called him to his rest house every 10 minutes and used abusive language against him. Kumar said that the magistrate believed that these bike thieves were caught using illegal means.
Sachin Kumar laid down on the railway tracks after being upset over the treatment received from the magistrate. Police personnel from the station reached the spot as soon as they got to know about the incident. Following this, the sub-inspector was consoled and brought to the police station. A video of this incident has gone viral.
