Uttarakhand floods: Survivors reach home, pray for those still trapped
Several Bhusawal residents, who had gone to Uttarakahnd, say that they will not forget the ordeal that they went through.

Bhusawal: When Arun Agarwal and his mother reached home after being stranded for several days in the flood and landslide-hit Uttarakhand, his family members thought it was nothing short of miracle that the duo was back safe.

Agarwal had taken his mother to the Chardham yatra. He says his mother's blessing was responsible for their safety. He added that he was proceeding to Kedarnath when suddenly it started to rain heavily. The people advised him to go to Badrinath along with his mother who was on a wheelchair. So, he followed the instructions and went to Badrinath and was saved from the tragedy that struck Kedarnath. According to Agarwal some of his relatives are still trapped in Kedarnath.

Several people from Bhusawal had gone fort Chardham yatra and returned with Agarwal. They say that they will not forget the horrors of Uttarakhand and the ordeal that they went through for almost one week.

Another survivor from Bhusawal, Vikash Gade, said when they crossed Uttarkashi, they saw two people being killed due to landslides. He added that several dead bodies were lying in Uttarkashi. A pilgrim Pratibha Pawar said that her group was very lucky because they were trapped in an area which had mobile connectivity and so they could speak to their families.

Those who have returned home say they are lucky and are now praying for those who are still trapped in Uttarakhand.
