THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The video footage of the controversial incidents that occurred in the Assembly on October 14 proved insufficient to establish that the Opposition MLAs T V Rajesh and James Mathew had attacked the woman Watch and Ward. The video clippings released to the media from the  Legislature Secretariat showed nothing pertaining to the MLAs attacking  the woman Watch and Ward.  But it is clear from the visuals that both of them had tried to barge into the podium of the Speaker.  The Watch and Ward  Rajani could be seen standing without her cap.  She might have sustained injury while the MLAs tried to barge into the podium. However, CPM MLA K K Lathika’s claim that she was hit by the Watch and Ward proved to be untrue. She could clearly be seen standing in the well of the house next to T V Rajesh.   When T V Rajesh is seen repeatedly trying to break the human wall formed by the Watch and Ward. And on Monday while the Speaker was delivering the ruling, James Mathew again raised his voice in  protest. From the government side,  Agriculture Minister K P Mohanan, apparently provoked by the Opposition members’ outcry, could be seen trying to cross over the table.
