VS: Vigilance case politically motivated

ALAPPUZHA: Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan on Thursday said the vigilance case against him was politically motivated. “I will face the case legally and politically.The Oommen Chandy government is ruling the state with six corrupt ministers in the Cabinet. The director of the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau is a retired person. Kunhalikutty had appointed him to derail the probe in the case, after offering bribe. Balakrishna Pillai, Kunhalikutty and Tomin J Tachankary are all included in the nexus,” Achuthanandan told reporters at the government guest house, near here. “I have more than 60 years of political experience. The people know what I am doing for society. So I will counter the allegation legally,”  VS said.
