Water supply to be hit in city

CHENNAI: Water supply will be affected in some areas of the city on Friday as Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board is conducting some technical work at the Kilpauk Medical College campus to facilitate construction of a Metro Rail Station. As the work would be undertaken from 10am to 10pm, water supply to Kilpauk, parts of Chetpet, Nungambakkam and parts of Teynampet areas will be interrupted during this period. Contact the area engineers in Anna Nagar (7845061905) and Teynampet  (7845061907)  to arrange for water supply in the affected areas. Further, Metro Water will conduct an open house meet at it’s area offices, including the newly added ones, between 10 am and 1pm on Saturday.
