Mumbai: Thousands of commuters remain stranded at Mumbai suburbs, as the Western Railway cancelled 135 trains in order to increase the number of tracks between Borivali and Virar.
The work on the tracks started late on Friday and will continue till 5 am on Monday.
The cancellations caused inconvenience to the commuters.
Kishore Jain, a commuter said, "I want to go to (south) Bombay, but as the trains are cancelled, I will get late today."

Tired of waiting for trains, some commuters have returned back.
Megha Gagwani, another commuter said, "We tried to get into the train but its so crowded that it is impossible to board, so I am going home."
