Mumbai: Four persons, on Wednesday, claim to have heard individuals discuss about placing parcels inside the first class compartments of western railway suburban trains on Tuesday evening.
The witnesses say that they were boarding the first class compartments when they heard some persons talking on their cellphones of having successfully placed the parcels in the compartments.
The suspects also spoke of meeting the others at some railway station. The police has not yet divulged the identity of the witnesses.
One of the witnesses claims the suspect informed of getting down at Malad, while another claimed that the suspect was supposed to get down at Kandivali station, police said.
The police said that half a dozen sketches have been made on the basis of the descriptions provided by these witnesses.
The witnesses were also likely to be quizzed to ascertain if there was commonality between their claims and derive a pattern, if any.
