Bundi: A 23-year-old man was arrested today for allegedly raping a minor in Kaperan town of the district, police said.
Mahendra Meena (23), a resident of Handikheda village was arrested for raping a 15-year-old girl in Kaperan town, while the girl had gone out to relieve herself, Manvendra Singh, DSP, Kapren police range said.
According to the complaint filed by the victim, Meena took her forcefully to a field last night when she had gone out to attend nature's call and raped her, he said.
The victim has also alleged the involvement of two other youths who helped the accused to commit the crime, police said.
A case under relevant sections of IPC and POSCO has been registered against Meena, Singh said, adding that the other youths have not been booked as investigation is on.
The medical examination of the minor was conducted, police said, adding that the results are, however, awaited.
