With the rapidly changing fashion industry, often a lot of people find it difficult to keep up. But style isn't just about wearing what is in trend. Style is about feeling comfortable in your own skin and sporting a look that makes you feel confident and happy about oneself without ignoring what's in trend.
So, for a perfect look, the right balance need to be created between what suits an individual and the trend is making it big in the fashion world.
"If you are one of those who is always worried about what to wear when stepping out, then just remember, your dressing doesn't have to be complicated. You just need to wear the clothes that fit you right and make you feel confident," said fashion consultant Darasing Khurana in an interview to News18.com.
And while a lot has been written about women's wear and fashion for girls, it is time we give the men little attention.
Khurana, who has styled several celebrities including Hrithik Roshan, Amy Jackson, Vidyut Jamwal, Irrfan Khan among others, helped us list a few fashion trends for men to look out for this year.
- Camouflage: If you thought Camouflage is out of fashion and that your old pants shouldn't be in your wardrobe, wait a minute. Camouflage is back in 2017. Be it lowers, t-shirts or sneakers, you can spot them all in camouflage prints.
- Embellishment/Embroidery: Top brands like Gucci, Missoni, Ermenegildo Zegna etc have bought back embellishment. T-shirts, jackets, sweaters with embroidery and patches will be in trend this year.
- Earth tone palette-all whites: Be it shirts, shorts, suits or jackets, earthy colours will be a great hit. All white from top to bottom will be in trend. A simple graphic sweatshirt with white denims and sneakers should give you that perfect spring look.
- Bomber Jackets: Bomber jackets in all colours will be great hit this year. One needs to make sure the fit of the jacket is youthful and the accompanying prices are streamlined.
- Squares: Squares will be seen everywhere, in every size and colour. Checked suits and trousers are back this year!
