TV’s favourite ‘Nagin’ Mouni Roy has cast a spell once again on the audience, this time with her ethereal ethnic look and a modern twist. With her recent social media presence, Mouni stole the limelight in a sequinned, shimmery silver saree with a minimalist take on accessories. Mouni attended the inauguration of the new store of Om Jewellers for which she chose a shimmery silver saree designed by Monisha Jaising. Mouni’s look is receiving a lot of appreciation on Instagram with fans gushing over it. The design, colours and style exuded such charm that we were compelled to decode this look.
Mouni Roy’s sequinned masterpiece featured a pre-draped saree with an attached pallu cascading down her shoulders freely. With an intricate embroidery, the saree was blingy enough to make heads turn at any event. What further enhanced the appeal of her look was her choice of blouse that she wore to complete the ensemble. With strapless detailing, a plunging sweetheart neckline and heavy embellishments, the blouse added a modern flair to her look. Further, the fitted silhouette of her traditional number hugged her curves perfectly, accentuating her well-toned figure.
When it came to accessories, Mouni Roy took a minimal approach to let her outfit shine. Ditching the jewellery, she only wore a ring to adorn her fingers. Her stunning monochromatic look was nothing short of breathtaking, thanks to her choice of makeup and hair styling. For a glam touch, she decked up in a dewy finish base, further enhanced with a brown lip shade, defined eyebrows, heavily contoured cheeks, a wash of highlighter, rouged cheeks, kohled eyes, winged eyeliner, and mascara-laden eyelashes. For a fuss-free appearance, she tied her hair in a ponytail, flaunting her stunning visage.
After being a popular face in the television industry for nearly a decade, Mouni Roy seamlessly transitioned into Bollywood with her debut film Gold in 2018 with Akshay Kumar. Later, her role as Junoon in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra garnered critical acclaim for the actress. Some of her recent projects include Showtime and Devang Bhavsar’s comedy-thriller Blackout. Besides, she is also soaking in love for her item song Mummy Ji in Vedaa.
