Hasta Nakshatra has been described as very special and important in astrology. According to astrology, if any resolution is made in Hasta Nakshatra, it gets fulfilled.

Pandit Shridhar Shastri further said that there is a coincidence of Hasta Nakshatra and Chitra Nakshatra on October 3. This year, Shardiya Navratri is celebrated from October 3 to October 11. Dussehra or Vijayadashami will fall on October 12. The importance of Shardiya Navratri and Hasta Nakshatra is associated with Lord Rama.
