Birthdays are all about making your loved ones feel special. Having said that, Aamir Khan made his Ammi Zeenat Hussain’s 90th birthday very memorable by hosting a grand celebration at his residence in Mumbai.
A source close to the actor, shared with News18 that, “Aamir flew in more than 200 family members and friends to be part of the celebration, making it a wonderful family get-together for everyone.”
The source further added, “Aamir Khan’s limitless love for his mother was evident on her 90th birthday as he brought the entire family together for this celebration. Everyone was dressed in ethnic wear, and the evening saw the presence of many family members, friends, and renowned celebrities from the entertainment world. Aamir Khan, along with everyone, cut the cake.”
Aamir Khan is an actor who loves his mother, Zeenat Hussain, deeply and shares a very special bond with her. He is very close to her and often seeks her approval on all the scripts and films he works on. She plays a very integral part in his personal and professional life. Aamir Khan also kept his promise to his mother by taking her to Mecca for the holy Haj pilgrimage. In an interview, he shared that he decided to take a break from his career to take care of his aging mother.
Underscoring the respect for her mother, Aamir Khan had earlier shared, “When I am doing a film as an actor, I get so lost in that that nothing else happens in my life. I was supposed to do a film after Laal Singh Chaddha called Champions. It’s a wonderful script, a beautiful story, and it’s a very heartwarming and lovely film. But I feel that I want to take a break, be with my family, with my mom, my kids.”
Work-wise, Aamir Khan is currently filming for a social dramedy titled Sitaare Zameen Par. He wrapped the Delhi schedule a few weeks back and headed to Vadodara for further shooting. Meanwhile, Sitaare Zameen Par is expected to focus on Down Syndrome. Besides the Mann actor, the film will feature Genelia Deshmukh as the female lead in the film.
