As per reports, Jayam and Aarthi formed a close bond while she was pursuing her studies in Scotland. They had known each other for 2 years and soon their friendship blossomed into love. They then informed their families as well about the relationship and finally married in 2009. They embraced parenthood as well with two sons Aarav and Ayaan.
The 43-year-old actor had earlier talked about his children while interacting with a popular daily for his film Adanga Maru. He was quoted as saying, “Normally elders in the family tell boys ‘don’t cry’. But I raise my sons telling them ‘don’t make girls cry’. I am not saying this for publicity sake. I mean it. My film (Adanga Maru) also tells the same, which I feel is very important.”
Besides this film, Jayam has many other films in his pipeline. He was also expected to be a part of Kamal Haasan’s film Thug Life. However, as per reports, he has walked out of the film.

According to a report by OTT Play, due to scheduling conflicts, Jayam may not be able to participate in the upcoming shooting sessions.
Trade analyst Karthik Ravivarma mentioned on social media that issues with scheduling are the cause behind Thani Oruvan’s actor potential withdrawal. There were also earlier rumours claiming that Dulquer Salmaan exited from Thug Life owing to his tough schedule. The decisions of both actors to step back appear to stem from conflicting commitments and hectic schedules, complicating their involvement in Kamal Haasan’s movie.
Jayam will next act in the film Brother.
