Alia Bhatt has come a long way in showbiz with rich content-driven films to her credit. The actress has delivered memorable performances, which have left an everlasting mark in every viewer’s heart. Having said that, professional honorary organization The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences gave a special mention to her performance in Kalank for her dance in ‘Ghar More Pardesiya.’ Bhatt has now reacted to this recognition.
Sharing the dance video posted by The Academy on her Instagram story, Alia dropped in a bundle of emojis that included a sun and heart. She also tagged the entire Kalank team. The song features the actress along with Varun Dhawan. It was sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Vaishali Mhade.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt will soon be seen in Jigra. is not just playing the lead in Jigra but is also producing it. Previously, in an interview with Film Companion, the actress opened up about venturing into production and shared that it is ‘exciting and overwhelming’ at the same time.
“I believe stories are everywhere, and stories are everything! I turned producer with Eternal Sunshine to tell some of these stories, ones that evoke emotions and leave an impact. Our first production, Darlings, got so much love that it was exciting and overwhelming at the same time,” she said. Alia has already wrapped up shooting for this movie.
Besides Jigra, Alia will soon also be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. However, recent unconfirmed reports suggest that the film has been put on hold for now. Alia will also be headlining YRF’s Spy Universe movie, not many details about it are known as of now. She also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’ in her pipeline. For the movie, Alia will be reuniting with her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor. The film will also star Vicky Kaushal in a key role.
