Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh, the producers of Phillauri, hosted a special screening for their friends on Tuesday night. From Shah Rukh Khan to Ashutosh Gowarikar to Saqib Saleem to Rhea Chakraborty- stars came in to cheer for Anushka's second production venture.
Rumoured couples Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha and Bunty Sachdev came in together. While Alia and Sidharth posed for cameras from their car, Bunty Sachdev seemed a bit apprehensive in being clicked with lady love Sonkashi. Sonakshi waved at the cameras but Bunty refused to pose or look towards the flashing cameras.
Anushka's The Ring co-star Shah Rukh Khan and director Imtiaz Ali also came to support the actress. SRK later took to Twitter to wish the actress. The superstar tweeted, "Phillauri the attempt at doing wot u believe in. @AnushkaSharma @diljitdosanjh #anshai #karnesh keep believing in the impossible."
Directors Ashutosh Gowarikar, Rajkumar Hirani, Kunal Kohli were also seen at the screening.
Saqib Saleem, Rhea Chakraborty and Anushka's Badmash Company co-star Meiyang Chang were also spotted at the screening. Veterans like Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar and Rekha also attended the screening along with Kriti Sanon and Badshah.
Phillauri has been directed by Anshai Lal and features Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma along with Anushka Sharma. The film is releasing on 24th March.
