Anant Ambani Tries to Lift Salman Khan During Akon's Performance, His Reaction Goes Viral; Watch

Anant Ambani had a ball with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan at his pre-wedding bash on Sunday. Anant, who is set to marry Radhika Merchant later this year, joined the Khans to enjoy a performance by Akon. The international singer brought back his hit track Chammak Challo, which he had sung for SRK’s Ra.One, for the grand night. As he sang, Anant grooved with Shah Rukh and Salman. In a video shared by Akon on his Instagram Stories, Anant was seen trying to lift Salman off his feet.

In the video, Akon was singing the lines to the song while Anant was seen hugging Salman. He suddenly tried to lift Salman off the ground. The attempt was welcomed sweetly by Salman. The actor was also seen smiling as Anant tried to carry him. Anant was then joined by Salman’s trusted bodyguard, Sheru, who helped him carry Salman. The video has already begun going viral on social media.

Akon’s performance was a part of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s three-day pre-wedding celebrations. Several other Bollywood stars including Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur were a part of the bash. Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are also attending the mega event.

The pre-wedding festivities took place in Jamnagar. The city holds a special significance for the Ambani family due to their deep-rooted familial ties with the city. Jamnagar airport, which is used to single-digit landings daily, saw several international flights come and leave. The entire airport was spruced up by Reliance as is the route to the RIL refinery complex.
