Anushka Sharma has been issued a letter by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for breaching her society's rule.

Anushka, who owns the entire 20th floor of Badrinath Tower in Versova, has been accused by a society member, of illegally installing an electric junction box on the floor passageway. BMC has issued the letter to her after the fire brigade forwarded the complaint to them.

However, the actresses' spokesperson has quashed the allegations as baseless. In an interview given to a tabloid, the spokesperson has said, "There Is "nothing illegal" about any construction or installation. The actress owns three flats on the 20th floor, and all permissions since 2013 are in place. Anushka and her family are law abiding and responsible citizens and wouldn't do anything to inconvenience or harm anyone"

In the past, BMC has issued warning letters and notices to Shah Rukh Khan, Kapil Sharma, Anil Kapoor and more celebrities over either illegal construction or for not abiding by the rules.
