Here’s some good news for all Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez fans. If a recent report by Entertainment Tonight is to be believed, the couple is “still fighting” for their marriage. Reportedly, even though the two Hollywood icons are “dealing with some problems”, they want to “fix things” and are “not over yet”.
“Jen has been feeling pressure with all her work commitments and Ben is more chill and doesn’t care about Hollywood and the stuff that comes along with it. He feels like ups and downs are part of life and everyone has these moments,” a source cited by the entertainment portal claimed.
“They went back into their relationship hoping that any past issues wouldn’t repeat themselves, but unfortunately, some of them are,” the insider added.
The portal also claimed that Ben has also been feeling “overwhelmed” at the moment because there is a lot on his plate.
“Ben and Jen don’t want to get divorced,” the source said and then continued by saying, “and are saying they won’t, but their relationship is simply not working at this point. They aren’t done yet and want to fix things because they love each other, but they are also both unhappy.”
J-Lo and Ben got married in July 2022. However, rumours of their divorce made headlines earlier this month when a report by In Touch Weekly claimed that the couple parted ways because “she can’t control him, and he can’t change her”. Later, another report by Us Weekly claimed that the tension between the Hollywood duo started a few months back when they started to argue over “finances”. Reportedly, JLo was very much focused on her work, which left Ben a little disappointed.
The insider further revealed that Ben apparently “doesn’t agree with Jennifer’s lifestyle” and was feeling “worn down” by the marriage. It also claimed that “both have demanding careers that often require them to be in different cities.” This is said to be one of the primary reasons which caused tension between Ben and Lopez.
However, it should also be noted that neither Ben nor Jennifer have issued any statement as of now regarding their alleged divorce. JLo was recently promoting her movie Atlas in Mexico when a reporter asked her to address divorce rumours. However, Lopez chose to remain silent and shut down the reporter saying, “You know better than that.”
