Pooja Bhatt has returned to the OTT space for another intriguing web series, BGDC. Created by Nitya Mehra, the upcoming Prime Video show is slated to hit the platform on March 14. The Indian original series was first announced on March 2, sparking intrigue among viewers. Now the makers have finally released the much-anticipated teaser of BGDC on YouTube and other social media platforms. Set against the backdrop of a boarding school, the show’s appeal comes from the fact that it contains female protagonists leading the narrative. As per the official description, BGDC revolves around “a story about dreams, aspirations and sisterhood."
The teaser began with a group of school girls approaching another classmate, calling her “crazy and idiot". They appeared to be fighting over an undisclosed issue. “You are so talentless that you had to stoop so low?" asked one of the girls sarcastically, before another student punched a rival in the face. The clip also offered glimpses of the boarding school premises where the students partook in daily activities.
Interspersed with baffling moments, heartwarming scenes, romantic sequences, fierce competition, and an all-female squad, BGDC’s teaser promises to be an exciting watch, full of twists and turns. Some time into the teaser, Pooja Bhatt makes an appearance. “Who are you?" she asks the pupils while on stage, indicating a journey of finding oneself. “When you leave home, a new adventure awaits," read the tagline of the video. The teaser concludes with the implication that the girls at the boarding dream of becoming successful in the future.
Earlier, Prime Video dropped the official poster of BGDC on Instagram, sans introducing the main characters in the web series. The picture contained a hashtag of the show’s title, with a pink-coloured crown illustration upon the letter ‘B’. “Don’t know about you but our world runs on BGDC," read the cryptic caption.

Besides Pooja Bhatt BGDC boasts a cast ensemble of Raima Sen, Lovleen Misra, Zoya Hussain, Mukul Chadda, Akshita Sood, Avantika Vandanapu, Aneet Padda, Dalai Tenzin Lhakyila, Vidushi, and Afrah Sayed.
This is not the first time that Pooja Bhatt marked her presence in the OTT circuit. Previously, she made her debut in the 2021 Netflix drama Bombay Begums.
