One of the critically acclaimed Malayalam actresses Nazriya Nazim is set to return on the silver screens after a hiatus of two years. Along with actor Basil Joseph, the actress will star in the upcoming film Sookshma Darshini. The film is directed by the Nonsense fame film director MC Jithin. Apart from the lead role, actors Deepak Parambol, Siddharth Bharathan, Merrin Philip, Akhila Bhargavan, Pooja Mohanraj, Kottayam Ramesh, Gopan Mangat, Manohari Joy and Mirza Fathia in the prominent roles. The film is jointly written by MC Jithin and Athul Ramachandran. The makers announced the film on May 29 while the shoot commenced with a muhurat ceremony held on Wednesday, June 12. The makers have now released the BTS video from the sets of the film Sookshma Darshini. The video has gone viral now.

The silver screen return of the actress is coming after two years but the Malayalam screen return in the lead role will be after four years. She was last seen in a prominent role in the film Trance, which starred her husband Faahadh Faasil in the lead role.
Nazriya Nazam married Fahadh Faasil in 2014. She took a break from the entertainment industry for four years and marked her return with Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film Koode.
