“Presenting the First Look Poster of Dominic and The Ladies’ Purse, Directed by @menongautham & Produced by @MKampanyOffl”, Mammotty captioned the post.
In the first look poster, Mammootty is seen wearing a bathrobe. A woman’s handbag and a cat are also seen in the poster. Behind the actor, the poster shows a suspicious board and movie posters. The first look of the film suggests it will be an investigative crime thriller in which Mammootty is said to play a detective.
Darbuka Shiva, who worked with Gautham Menon in the Dhanush starrer Enai Noki Paayum Thota, will be the music composer for the film. Dr Neeraj Rajan and Sooraj Rajan have written the story of Dominic and the lady’s purse.
It also stars actors Gokul Suresh, Lena, Siddique, Vijay Babu and Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum fame Viji Venkatesh in important roles. On the technical front, Gautham has retained his existing collaborators, including his regular editor Anthony, cinematographer Vishnu Dev, one of the DOPs of Dhruva Natchathiram, and composer Darbuka Siva, known for his work on the 2019 film Enai Noki Paayum Thota.
Gautham Menon’s last film was Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha while his long-pending directorial Dhruva Natchathiram is yet to see the light of day. Mammootty was last seen in Turbo, the action entertainer directed by Vysakh, in which Raj B Shetty played the antagonist.
