Govinda's Son Says Arti Singh 'Mujhe Maregi' As Paparazzi Ask Him THIS At Her Wedding

Krushna Abhishek’s sister and television actress Arti Singh tied the knot with Dipak Chauhan in Mumbai on Thursday. Among others, her actor-uncle Govinda also graced the wedding ceremony. He was also accompanied by his son, Yashvardhan Ahuja. In a video that surfaced on social media, Govinda’s son was seen speaking to the paparazzi when he sent his best wishes to his sister, Arti.

“I just wish her all the best. She is one of my most loveliest sisters. I love her. She has the purest heart of all. She is the most beautiful person, beautiful soul that I know. God bless her. I love her,” Yashvardhan told Telly Masala.

Furthermore, when asked about the advice he would want to give Arti on her wedding day, Govinda’s son jokingly said, “Yaar main chota bhai hu. Voh mujhe maaregi. Mat bolna yeh sab (I am her younger brother. She will beat me up. Don’t say all this).” Watch the video here:

Govinda has not been on talking terms with his nephew Krushna Abhishek, who is Arti’s elder brother. The duo had a huge fallout in 2016. Therefore, netizens were unsure about Govinda attending Arti’s wedding especially after he skipped the TV star’s Haldi, Sangeet and Mehendi ceremonies.

However, his entry surprised all. In a video shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram, Govinda was seen all smiles as he made a grand entry to Arti’s wedding. He also greeted the paparazzi stationed outside the wedding venue with folded hands. He later blessed the newlyweds and told Instant Bollywood, “Ishvar se praarthana hai, jo kripa Arti par hui hai kisi prakaar ka vastu dosh na lage (I pray for her wellbeing and may god protect her from evil eyes).”

Later, Krushna Abhishek also got emotional as he talked about Govinda attending Arti’s wedding. “Maama aaye bahut khushi hui. I was so happy to see him. Wo dil ki baat hai. Humara emotional connect hai,” he said.

Krushna Abhishek and Govinda’s rift is not unknown and has been going on for almost eight years now. The two were not on talking terms. Krushna has also skipped The Kapil Sharma Show in the past whenever Govinda was invited as a guest. However, in recent times, Krushna was repeatedly seen expressing his desire to reunite with his mama. 

Previously, Krushna told Indian Express that ‘sooner or later they will be back together.’ “He is my mama and I know sooner or later we will be back together. I always believe that blood is thicker than water and it has the power to reunite us,” he had said.
