Punjabi singer Harrdy Sandhu, known for his hit tracks like Titliyan, Soch, Nah Soniye, Backbone, and Joker, is celebrating his 38th birthday today. Although he has established himself in the Punjabi music industry, Hindi music, and Bollywood films, Harrdy originally did not aspire to join the entertainment world. Harrdy Sandhu initially dreamed of becoming a cricketer and was selected for the Indian Under-19 team as a talented bowler. An unfortunate injury changed his life, forcing him out of the team. Even though he continued to play in secret after recovering, his condition worsened, and he could never return to the game, ending his cricket career.

The film, directed by Kabir Khan and released in 2021, chronicles the Indian cricket team’s 1983 World Cup victory. Harrdy portrayed fast bowler Madanlal, and his performance received acclaim from audiences and critics alike.
In 2022, Harrdy Sandhu was seen in the film Code Name Tiranga with Parineeti Chopra but the film went by totally unnoticed.
