The wait is over! We have received your votes and finalized the winners for this year's IBNLive Movie Awards. 2015 was an eventful year for both Indian and international cinema. If the year saw several Box Office hits, it also helped small budget independent films make their presence felt. From the hits to the misses, our readers tell us what we'll remember the Indian showbiz industry for in 2015.
Kajol and SRK - one of the most awaited pairings of 2015 – has once again proved nobody can be pitted against them! The couple earned maximum votes (61.82%). The ease with which this ‘Dilwale’ couple takes the lead is just unmatchable. While the film didn't do well at the box-office; it managed to reunite Raj-Simran from 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayege' and to an extent recreate the magic of their togetherness.
Deepika-Ranveer, Bajirao Mastani (14.04% votes)
Not only has their off-screen candid moments given us some serious relationship goals, but the unbelievable understanding they shared in this film makes the one of the best pairings of the year. Indeed, no other actors could have played the love story of Bajirao Mastani this well.
Deepika-Ranbir, ‘Tamasha’ (10.7% votes)
You just can't deny the fact that Ranbir and Deepika make up for one of the hottest couples of Bollywood. While they've had their share of ups and downs; it has never affected their professional rapport. Their intense passion on-screen definitely had many takers this time.
Bhumi-Ayushmann, ‘Dum Lagaa Ke Haisha’ (7.27% votes)
Apart from Bhumi Pednekar's fine acting skills, this film also gave us one of the most amazing couples of 2015. The brilliance with which this couple pulled of the inhibitions of the newly-weds and complexities of new relationships is indeed remarkable.
Kangana-Madhavan, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ (4.89% votes)
This wasn't the first time this duo featured together in a film. In 'Tanu Weds Manu', the surprising chemistry and comfort between the two not only had many takers but also ended up making the film a blockbuster hit. This time too, Madhavan's ease with Kangana made this movie a success.
Priyanka-Farhan, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ (0.68% votes)
The magic created by two of the most versatile celebrities of Bollywood in 'Dil Dhadakne Do' was beautiful. Despite a brief presence, Farhan and Priyanka's track in the film established their chemistry long enough for fans to become eager to see them together on screen again.
Kangana-Imran, Katti Batti (0.6% votes)
'Katti Batti' disappointed the audience but the north-south pole chemistry between the lead pair, worked for Imran again. The cute boy next door's love story with a wild, care free girl came naturally to both the actors, but didn't impress our reader.
