Aksharabhyasam’ or ‘Vidyarambham’ is a traditional religious function in which children are introduced to the world of the alphabet.

Kantara fame director and actor Rishab Shetty’s daughter has taken her first steps towards formal education. The actor and his family recently paid a visit to the famous Divya Kshetra Hariharapura temple with his family. The actor informed his fans that the Aksharabhyasam ceremony was performed for his daughter at the temple. He shared the pictures on social media which have gone viral now. The actor was accompanied by his wife Pragathi and kids Ranvir Shetty and Raadya Shetty.

Aksharabhyasam’ or ‘Vidyarambham’ is a traditional religious function in which children are introduced to the world of the alphabet. It is their first step towards formal education. The actor was seen wearing a white dhoti whereas Pragathi Shetty donned a red saree. The actor was helping his daughter write alphabets on a slate with the chalk.

In the pictures, Rishab Shetty looks extremely happy with the successful completion of the Aksharabhyasam ceremony by his daughter. “From Little Steps to Little Words. We are blessed to share with you that, by the grace of Shri Sharadambe, our little girl’s ‘Akshara Abhyasa’ ceremony was fulfilled.” wrote Rishab Shetty in the post. The fans congratulated the actor and flooded the comments section with love and compliments. Some offered advice for Kannada medium school education to the actor’s daughter others inquired about the future projects of the actor.

Rishab Shetty will be seen next in the prequel of the blockbuster Kantara. It will be written and directed by the actor himself. The shooting of the film is currently underway. During an interview, the actor stated that this is a story of his village and it was his dream to bring it on silver screens. Before shooting the blockbuster Kantara, the plan of the prequel came into play. The film draws inspiration from ancient times and tells the story of the origin of Panjurli Daiva and Guliga Daiva divinities.
