Jacqueline Fernandez has come a long way in showbiz. With almost 15 years in Bollywood, the actress has created a niche for herself with some commercially hit films and music. As she looked back at her journey during her Cannes appearance, the actress revealed that she had gotten some bad advice from fellow actors in the industry.
In an interview with Brut, Jacqueline talked about her initial days and said, “Very very early on in my career, I was at the gym, and I was explaining to this actor that I have to go for this course and I have to go for this class. And I am training in diction for this, and then I’m working out here, and he was like, ‘Listen, just focus on looking good, and you’ll be fine.’ And I actually think that it was one of the worst pieces of advice I ever got, being someone who was trying to make it in the industry.”
She further added, “I think a lot of people pile in mainly about your physical appearance. Like I was told many times to get a nose job. And it was crazy because I really came here loving my nose and not really ever thinking about doing anything ever to it. And so quite a few people earlier on actually told me that it should be, you know, ‘you should consider getting that done.’ And it’s mainly physical, and that’s the sad thing.”
Jacqueline Fernandez’s dazzling appearance at the 77th Cannes Film Festival was nothing short of a fashion extravaganza. The diva cast a golden spell on the French Riviera with her stunning ensemble as she elegantly glided on the red carpet like a fashionista. The Bollywood diva marked her presence at the prestigious event in association with the automotive brand BMW and even attended the premiere of Demi Moore’s The Substance.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline has a series of films in her kitty. On the acting front, she is preparing for her role in Welcome to the Jungle. Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome 3 boasts a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain, and Yashpal Sharma.
