Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Sign Divorce Papers, To Officially Announce Separation Soon?

Here’s some heartbreaking news for all Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s fans. While their separation rumours have been making headlines for a long time, it has been reported that the Hollywood stars have signed the divorce papers. “They finalised the divorce papers with her a month ago, but are waiting for the right time to drop them,” a source told Daily Mail.

Not just this, it has also been reported that the Gone Girl actor has been actively preparing for their split. JLo and Ben are also likely to officially announce their separation soon. “At that time, they will release a joint statement that will say how they have much love for each other and how they fought to make it work, but couldn’t. Honestly, in the end they could not come to a compromise. What they had before is gone and they have both accepted it,” the insider added.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s divorce rumours first made headlines in May this year after a report by In Touch Weekly claimed that the couple parted ways because “she can’t control him, and he can’t change her”. Later, another report by Us Weekly claimed that the tension between the Hollywood duo started a few months back when they started to argue over “finances”. Reportedly, JLo was very much focused on her work, which left Ben a little disappointed. The two Hollywood stars are living separately now.

However, Ben Affleck’s fans were left heartbroken last month when a report by Ok Magazine claimed that the actor is ‘upset and depressed’ amid his ongoing divorce with Jennifer. The portal claimed that Ben used to consider JLo as his “dream woman” and is disheartened due to their separation.

“Jennifer was Ben’s dream woman. It was a drama all the time. He’s feeling down about it and is upset and depressed that it didn’t work out, even though he knows ending it is the right thing to do,” a source cited by the entertainment portal claimed.

It should also be noted that neither Ben nor Jennifer have issued any statement as of now regarding their divorce. Instead, Jennifer paid special tribute to Ben on Father’s Day. She took to her Instagram story to share a throwback black and white photo of Ben in a leather jacket and called him “our hero”. She also used a white heart emoji with her caption.
