Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 257: Yuji Itadori's Surprising Past With Sukuna Revealed
Surprisingly, Yuji Itadori and Sukuna have a special connection in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 257.

Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen have long been part of the movement advocating for a mysterious link between Yuji Itadori, the manga’s protagonist, and Ryomen Sukuna, the manga’s evil and unchallenged King of Curses. Now, the manga has revealed its most unexpected turn yet in chapter 257. As anticipated by the fans, this episode centred mostly on the fight between Sukuna and Yuji Itadori. On April 21, Jujutsu Kaisen released its most recent chapter, marking the official launch of the whole opus.

As it happens, Sukuna and Yuji Itadori have a deep past. It appears that Yuji is linked to the King of Curses. The surprise comes via reincarnation; Sukuna is actually the boy’s uncle.

Surprisingly, Sukuna prioritised himself even as a foetus, despite being a twin at one point in time. Sukuna apparently ate his twin brother while still in the womb, causing the unborn soul to reincarnate.

The twin brother of Sukuna was reincarnated as Yuji’s father, and naturally, Kenjaku adopted Yuji’s mother’s kid in order to have children.

Yuji, Kenjaku’s willful son and Sukuna’s reincarnated twin, were born of the horrific relationship.

For Sukuna, Yuji has always posed a spiritual threat. The kid was not only designed to effectively house Sukuna, but he was also capable of standing up to the curse.

The way Yuji handles his esteemed lineage will become clear with time. Sukuna is not going to be beaten easily, therefore Yuji must have great plans.

In Jujutsu Kaisen, this is not a surprise. The idea that Sukuna was really born as a twin and ate his other half has long been widely held, and it explains both his hideous look and his ability to use several cursed techniques. At the same time, Sukuna was inspired by his conjoined twin.

Fans therefore understood that at some time in the narrative, this twin idea would become true.

In this latest chapter, for the first time since his rebirth, Sukuna found himself completely outmatched in combat and powerless to prevent his adversary from harming him.

It was a really fascinating spectacle, as this is the first time Sukuna has been overpowered to this degree since the battle against Gojo.

Throughout it all, Sukuna provided fans with a wealth of insightful information on Yuji Itadori, and this author’s exposition has enhanced both this battle and the Shinjuku Showdown arc overall.
