On August 19, Sandalwood’s rocking star Yash had a full day celebrating Raksha Bandhan and working on his upcoming film, Toxic. The day began with Raksha Bandhan, a festival dedicated to celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters. Yash and his sister, Nandini, marked the occasion at home. They performed traditional rituals, including applying kumkum, doing aarti, and tying rakhi. This yearly tradition highlights Yash’s dedication to family and his commitment to celebrating important festivals together.
Despite the festival, Yash remained focused on his professional commitments. After celebrating Rakhi, he headed to the sets of his new film, Toxic. The shooting for Toxic began on August 8 and marks Yash’s first project since the success of K.G.F: Chapter 2. On the set, Yash sported a new look, including a short hairstyle and beard, which he showcased in photos shared on social media. He wore a white shirt and jeans on the first day of filming and shared his excitement with fans by posting a photo on X with the caption, “The journey begins #Toxic.”
In addition to his work, Yash also took time to visit fellow actor, Shiva Rajkumar at the sets of the latter’s 131st film, yet to be titled. Yash extended his best wishes to ‘Shivanna’ and the two had a brief but pleasant meeting before Yash returned to his filming duties.
Yash’s dedication to both his personal and professional life was evident throughout the day. Ahead of the filming schedule, Yash and producer Venkat K. Narayana visited several temples in Karnataka, including the Shri Sadashiva Rudra Surya Temple, Shri Manjunatheshwara Temple in Dharmasthala, and Kukke Subramanya Temple in Subramanya. These visits were part of Yash’s tradition of seeking blessings for a successful start to new projects.
Yash’s celebration of Raksha Bandhan and his commitment to his work on Toxic showed how he balances his time between family and career, keeping fans engaged and excited about his future projects.
