Mohanlal brought the house at a recent awards show by dancing to Shah Rukh Khan’s Zinda Banda from the film Jawan. Videos of the Malayalam film superstar have surfaced online showing his match steps to Anirudh Ravichander’s catchy beats on stage. In a video shared by a fan on X, Mohanlal was seen wearing a cheetah printed shirt with a brown leather jacket and pants.
The 63-year-old superstar delivered a powerful performance, impressing his and SRK’s fandoms. Jawan, headlined by Shah Rukh Khan, was directed by Atlee. The film, besides Shah Rukh and Nayanthara, also starred Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Riddhi Dogra, Deepika Padukone, Sunil Grover, and others in primary roles. A monstrous success at the box office, the action thriller collected Rs 1160 crore at the box office, claiming the title of one of the highest-grossing Indian films ever.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal and Shah Rukh often shower each other with love. Last year, on SRK’s birthday, Mohanlal took to X and wrote, “Happy Birthday, dear Shah Rukh Khan! May you be blessed with good health, happiness and success, always and forever.”
On the work front, Mohanlal has a series of films in the pipeline. He will be seen in Kannappa, which also stars Prabhas and Akshay Kumar. It was also recently announced that Mohanlal will reunite with Shobana for a film. The duo, who has worked in films such as Manichitrathazhu, Nadodikkattu, Thenmavin Kombath, Pavithram, TP Balagopalan MA and Rangam, will reunite after 20 years.
