Singer Rahul Vaidya recently took to social media on September 6 to reveal that he has been diagnosed with dengue. The popular singer, known for his participation in ‘Bigg Boss 14’ and ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, shared the news with his fans through an Instagram story, posting a selfie while battling a high fever of 104°F. He later shared another update, simply captioning it, “Dengue!” Further details about his condition are still awaited.

This news comes as a shock to his fans, especially since it coincides with the festive occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, which holds special significance for Rahul. Unfortunately, due to his illness, he has had to cancel his festive plans. The singer typically celebrates the festival with a 5-day ritual at home, marking it as an important family tradition.

Last year, the festival became even more memorable for him and his wife, Disha Parmar, as they welcomed their first child, daughter Navya, on Ganesh Chaturthi. Rahul had fondly shared that on this auspicious day, he brought Lakshmi ji home, referring to his daughter as a blessing.

On the work front, Rahul is currently seen in the television show ‘Laughter Chefs’, where he partners with Aly Goni in the unique cooking-comedy series. He also recently released a single titled ‘Jisne Daru Nahi Pi’.
