Rakhi Sawant's Lawyer Blasts Adil For His 'Hospitalisation Drama' Comment: 'She Is Not Running Away'

Rakhi Sawant’s lawyer Falguni Brahmabhatt has lashed out at Adil Khan Durrani for calling the actress’ hospitalisation a “drama”. Recently, Adil exclusively spoke to News18 Showsha and claimed that Rakhi is “creating a drama” to escape going to jail in the infamous leaked video case.

Falguni Brahmabhatt shared Rakhi Sawant’s health update and called Adil’s claims “false”. “Rakhi has medical issues, no doubt about it. Whatever Adil is saying that is what he is thinking. He believes that because the court date is coming near, Rakhi is spreading rumours. But that is not true, she is undergoing treatment and shall undergo surgery soon. She has fibrosis, there will be another checkup with the gynaec for what are the other issues. And yes, she also has heart issues. Rakhi had anxiety, chest pain and palpitations,” she told E-Times.

Rakhi’s lawyer made it clear that the actress is not trying to escape from the legal proceedings. She claimed that Rakhi will appear before the court in the next three days and mentioned that she was “not running away”.

“She will move court within a two-three days’ time. As the date is coming closer, as her advocates we will take legal steps to ensure that her legal procedures or compliance are made. The directions of the Supreme Court will be followed. It is not that she is running away, Rakhi has already instructed us and we shall take legal steps at the appropriate time. She will be back very soon,” she added.

Falguni accused Adil of spreading lies to gain publicity and claimed, “Adil is just trying to grab publicity in this, he had mentioned that last year he did all the tests. He wasn’t even there, for 6 months he was in jail. He wasn’t even there with Rakhi when she went for her medical tests. And even if he was there with her then anyone could have a medical emergency, she would have been alright last year, but she could also have a medical emergency, you cannot determine something that happens all of a sudden.”

Recently, Rakhi Sawant shocked everyone after photos of the actress from a hospital went viral on social media. While her fans were left worried about her health, Ritesh Raj Singh, another ex-husband of Rakhi, told News18 Showsha that doctors discovered a tumour in her uterus after a couple of tests were performed. They have suspected Rakhi has cancer, according to Ritesh. However, the additional test results are awaited.

However, later, Adil claimed that the actress was “creating a drama” and said, “Doctors haven’t said anything. We don’t know which hospital she is in. If it is a heart attack, I think patients generally need oxygen masks but she (Rakhi Sawant) does not have that too. She is doing this only because she has to surrender to cops soon. This is only a drama to escape going to jail.”
