Rakul Preet Singh is missing her holidays, and it’s easy to see why. Amid her busy schedule balancing work and personal life, the actress took to Instagram to share some nostalgic throwback pictures and videos. The post features heartwarming moments between Rakul and her beau, Jackky Bhagnani, and has been receiving a lot of love online. Rakul captioned the post, “Aaj holiday ki Bahot yaad aa rahi hai.”
The clip shared by Rakul Preet Singh featured a collection of photos from her previous vacation in London. It captures her strolling through the streets, working out at the gym, enjoying a coffee and sharing moments with her husband, Jackky Bhagnani. Our favourite part is the sequence where she poses for adorable pictures while savouring her food.
Rakul Preet Singh married producer Jackky Bhagnani in February of this year. The lavish ceremony, with close friends from the industry and loved ones, took place in Goa. Months after her wedding, the actress, in an interesting revelation, shared with Zoom that she forced Jackky to propose to her before marriage. She also divulged Bhumi Pednekar’s role on her proposal day.
Rakul Preet Singh said, “No one knows the proposal story. I forced him to do a proper proposal for me. I said, “I am not walking down that aisle till you propose.’ Because shaadi date was fixed, parents have met and wedding prep is going on. so why hasn’t he proposed? I was like I need a story. I know we were getting married but I need a story for life.”
“He managed to surprise me. I had no idea. And Bhumi (Pednekar) played a very big role. Because she orchestrated it, I couldn’t guess,” Rakul Preet Singh added.
In terms of career, Rakul Preet Singh is set to be seen in Meri Patni Ka Remake, co-starring Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is slated to release at the end of 2024. Additionally, she will also be seen reprising her character of Ayesha Khurana in De De Pyaar De 2. The film also stars Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan in lead roles. Expected to release in May 2025, the romantic comedy is produced by Luv Ranjan and directed by Anshul Sharma.
Rakul Preet Singh was last seen in Indian 2, headlined by Kamal Haasan. The S Shankar directorial also features Siddharth in the lead role.
