Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hedge will be soon seen together in an action-packed drama titled Deva. The film has been creating a lot of buzz among the audience since its announcement. To increase the excitement, Shahid Kapoor today shared a new poster and also announced the release date of the film. It is all set to hit the theatres on February 14, 2025.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Shahid shared a poster in which he is seen in an action scene. He is wearing a police written cover and holding a gun. Looks like he will playing the cop role. “Get ready for a VIOLENT VALENTINE’S DAY. DEVA, releasing in theaters on 14th Feb 2025!,” read the caption. Ishaan Khatter reacted and dropped emojis. One of the fans wrote, “Shahid Kapoor as violent cop will be a delight to watch on a big screen.” Another wrote, “Can’t wait.”

Shahid also shared the first look in which Shahid appeared to be playing the role of a police officer in the movie. In the photo, he was seen flaunting his short hairdo while holding a gun in his hand. The actor sported a bracelet and wore a half-button shirt with a pair of khakee pants. Shahid completed his look with a pair of sunglasses that reminded us of Kabir Singh.
Recently, Shahid Kapoor completed the shoot of his upcoming action drama Deva co-starring Pooja Hedge. The film was announced by him on Dussehra last year. He has been sharing a lot of BTS photos on social media.
In the video, shared by Varinder Chatwla, we can see Shahid wearing a white colour tee paired with denim and a brown shirt. He looked handsome as he posed for the camera. The actor smiled at them before entering the club. Fans also reacted and dropped heart emojis. Earlier, Roy Kapur Films had shared a series of cake cutting photos on the set. Shahid was not seen.
