It has been three years since Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s Shershaah was released. The actor marked the occasion with a heartfelt post on Instagram. Sharing a bunch of pictures featuring his stills from the film, the actor also penned an elaborate note. In the note, Sidharth reflected on his experience of being a part of the film and meeting Captain Vikram Batra’s family. In his caption, Sidharth wrote, “Three years since Shershaah! Portraying Captain Vikram Batra was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career, bringing to life the story of a legendary hero honored with the Special Jury Award at the 69th National Film Awards.” “Meeting his incredible family made the journey unforgettable. Here’s to celebrating the legacy of a real hero and the memories we created! #3YearsOfShershaah,” the actor further added.
Directed by Vishnuvardhan and backed by Karan Johar, Shershaah is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra recipient Vikram Batra, who sacrificed his life during the Kargil War. As the film chronicled the life of the Kargil War hero, fans poured in love for the lead cast of the film. Besides, the film also bagged the prestigious National Film Award.
