After gaining massive fame for the song Neelorpam, Abby V is all set to debut in the Malayalam Film industry. As per reports, the singer will lend his voice to the film Varaham starring Suresh Gopi. Abby V gained significant fame after the song Neelorpam from the film Indian 2, was released. The reports further stated that this film is set to be the 257th film of Suresh Gopi.
The filmmakers announced the collaboration with Abby through an Instagram post. The makers announced with a poster and captioned the post, “A voice like no other. Indian2 movie fame- Abby V makes his Malayalam singing debut in Varaham!” According to the post, the lyrics of the song are penned by Hari Narayanan BK while the music is composed by popular music composer Rahul Raj. Commenting on the post, Abby wrote, “So happy to be associated with this wonderful movie and sing for Rahul Chetta! Looking forward.” The post went viral soon after it was posted on Instagram creating a massive craze among the fans.
The film Varaham will be directed by Sanal Devan. The storyline of the film is penned by Jithu K. Jayan and Manu C. Kumar, while it is set to be produced by Vineet Jain and Sanjay Padiyoor under the banner of Maverik Movies Pvt Ltd and Sanjaypandiyoor Entertainment. The cinematography is set to be done by Ajay David Kachappilly, while Mansoor Muthutty will manage the editing department. Alongside Suresh Gopi, the film also features Gautham Vasudev Menon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Indrans, Navya Nair, Sarayu Mohan, Sreejith Ravi, Prachi Tehlan and Santhosh Keezhattoor.
Abby gained prominence on the social media platform after his song went viral in 2020. In the video, he took up small parts from the 73 Indian classical ragas and sang them in rapid succession. Before lending his voice to the Indian 2 song composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the Toronto-based singer collaborated with many popular artists.
