Sonakshi Sinha’s expansive apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra area, boasting a carpet area of 4,000 square feet, which she purchased last year, has been put up for sale. The decision has raised eyebrows among her fans, especially since Sonakshi recently got married to longtime beau Zaheer Iqbal in that very apartment, with the key wedding functions taking place there. The apartment had marked a significant step for her, as it was her first home after moving out of her parents’ residence, where she had been living with Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha. The sale has left many speculating about the reasons behind this move.

A real-estate Instagram account listed the building for sale. The apartment has been described as a luxurious sea-facing one in the prestigious 81 Aureate Building, Bandra Reclamation. It also mentioned that the expansive 4200 sq. ft. walk-in apartment, originally a 4BHK, has been tastefully converted into a spacious 2BHK with decks. Fully furnished with exclusive interiors and boasting multiple modern amenities, this residence also includes 3 car parking spaces. The apartment is now priced at Rs 25 crore. Many took to the comments section to wonder why she is selling the apartment so soon. “That’s Sonakhi Sinha s home.. moving out too soon,” read one comment. Another comment read, “Why is sonakshi sinha selling her house? She had just bought it a while back.”

In September 2023, it was reported that Sonakshi Sinha bought this luxury apartment on the 26th floor of 81 Aureate in Bandra Reclamation, Bandra West, as per TOI. The agreement, signed by her mother Poonam Sinha, showed the apartment has a carpet area of 4,210.87 sq. ft. and cost Rs 11 crore. The sea-facing home offers beautiful views of Mahim Bay and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.

Last year, Sonakshi Sinha showed fans her home in Architectural Digest India. She turned her four-bedroom apartment into a spacious 1.5-bedroom home with areas for her art studio, yoga, dressing room, and a walk-in wardrobe. The house has amazing views, with the closet and deck overlooking the Arabian Sea.
