The movie is expected to start filming in 2016. Director Guillermo del Toro, who scripted the film and was set to helm it, left the directorial job and decided to work on 'Pacific Rim 2' instead.
'Dark Universe' is based on the comic series 'Justice League Dark', which was written by Peter Milligan and
illustrated by Mikel Janin. The movie will see superheroes like Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, and Etrigan The Demon would make up the team
