Anne Hathaway is teaming up with Red, White and Royal Blue star Nicholas Galitzin for The Idea of You and the first trailer has just been released. The film is based on acclaimed book of the same name by Robinne Lee. The book was published in 2017 and focused on Solène and Hayes’ love story. Anne Hathaway plays the 40-year-old Solène, a single mom who begins an unexpected romance with 24-year-old Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine), the lead singer of August Moon, dubbed as the hottest boy band on the planet. Yes, yes, we see how Harry Styles coded he is!
The trailer opens with Anne Hathaway in Nicholas Galitzine’s arms. The couple looked back at their love story, how it all began at Coachella. Their love bloomed when he visits her in her studio and makes a move. While Anne’s Solène surrenders to the unexpected events transpiring in her life, she meets a rude shock when their relationship goes public and is met with a massive backlash.

The trailer has caught One Direction fans’ attention. While author Robinne Lee had denied that the singer’s character is based on Harry Styles, many fans took to X to point out that a few scenes in the trailer looked eerily similar to Styles’ One Direction era. They also pointed out that it reminded them of Harry’s relationship with Olivia Wilde.
