Vijay Deverakonda is getting ready for his new movie Family Star, which is a family-friendly film. In this movie, he plays the role of a hero who works hard to protect his family. During a recent interview, Vijay talked about the failure of his Bollywood debut Liger and how it affected him when it tanked at the box office. He said that his confidence remains intact, despite failures.
He said during a press interaction in Hyderabad, as reported by Ottplay, “There is no change in my attitude. I have remained the same. The only difference is I decided to refrain from talking about the results of a film upfront for at least three more movies. That’s the punishment I gave myself.”
Recently, he revealed that now he doesn’t work with debutants as he needs his co-stars to be ready to “exploit” his talent.
Vijay Deverakonda told India Glitz, “I don’t work with debutants now. At least, they need to be one film old. It’s a huge challenge to take up when you come straight on to a set. It’s a lot of pressure to handle budget, to handle scale. When they do one film old, all of us get better with every film, but your first film just gets you in the groove. It’s like warm and ready for me because when I come, I go all out and I need them to be fully ready to exploit me and use me. So, I don’t work with debutants.”
Family Star is directed by Parasuram Petla and co-produced by Dil Raju and Shirish. For this film, Vijay Deverakonda once again collaborates with filmmaker Parasuram Petla, after the success of the smash hit Geetha Govindam. The project has sparked intense interest, and fans are hoping for another blockbuster collaboration from the talented duo.
