Vivek Agnihotri's The Delhi Files Is Set To Go On Floors This Year: 'No Big Stars, Only Big Content'

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, known for the success of The Kashmir Files, has shared an exciting update about his next project, The Delhi Files. In response to a tweet, the filmmaker announced that his upcoming movie is scheduled for release in 2025. Additionally, Agnihotri disclosed details about the lead actors, building anticipation and keeping the audience engaged with the project.
Responding to a tweet by a social media user, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri captioned, “In the meantime, #TheDelhiFiles is going on floors this year, as scheduled. Release next year. No big stars. Only big content.”

Previously, Vivek Agnihotri had mentioned that The Delhi Files would form the final installment in a trilogy that includes The Tashkent Files (2019) and The Kashmir Files. In a tweet announcing the film, the director shared, “Few years back, I started telling untold stories of independent India.1. #TheTashkentFiles – Right To Truth. 2. #TheKashmirFiles – Right To Justice (releasing soon) Happy to announce the last & the boldest of the trilogy: 3. #TheDelhiFiles – Right To Life. Pls bless us.”
The production of The Delhi Files will be a collaboration between Abhishek Agarwal Arts and Vivek’s I am Buddha Production.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, Vivek Agnihotri was bestowed with the title of Doctorate from the Governor of Maharashtra.
During the ceremony ADYPU Convocation 2024, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri gave a impactful speech. He said, “I would like to quickly share five life learnings with you. I speak what I practice, drawing from my life’s invaluable lessons, and on this momentous occasion I feel compelled to express my gratitude to my Pro five profound teachers, five institutions that have molded my understanding of life and whatever little success or influence I have accomplished is because of these five gurus. My first teacher my schools, my colleges, my universities. I was taught the importance of specialisation and getting a degree. My second teacher was my time spent in management, My third teacher was Cinema, Power Spirituality was my fourth teacher and my fifth and last learning is that there are no rules”
On the work front, Vivek Agnihotri recently unveiled his next magnum opus during a grand event in Bangalore. The much-anticipated project, titled ‘Parva,’ promises to be an epic cinematic journey and is based on the novel ‘Parva’ penned by the renowned author S. L. Bhyrappa. This ambitious venture is set to be a three-part franchise.
