Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are one of Bollywood’s most adored couples. They never miss an opportunity to show their love for each other. Recently, an old interview came to light, where Sidharth Malhotra dedicated a special song from his film Hasee Toh Phasee to his wife Kiara Advani.
In a fun rapid fire with Mirchi Plus, the Yodha actor was asked to dedicate certain song lyrics to the respective film actors with whom they resonate the most. When the host quizzed him to dedicate ‘Ye chhori badi drama queen hai’, the Student of the Year actor quipped, ‘Kiara Advani’. For the unversed, the song lyrics ‘drama-queen’ come from the beautiful music album of Hasee Toh Phasee, starring Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra. The actor dedicating the title to his wife shows their comfort and cute camaraderie.
Recently, it was reported that Sidharth Malhotra made a sudden exit from Balwinder Singh Janjua’s upcoming film Mitti, just one month before the shoot was scheduled to commence. The news has gone viral. However, an official was never made for the film. Peeping Moon has reported creative differences as the reason.
Peeping Moon in its report mentions the reasons for his departure remain unclear, citing both creative differences with the director and concerns about the script itself. Other sources suggest Malhotra simply wasn’t convinced by the project’s direction, others claim his decision may have been influenced by a desire for more creative control on set. There’s also speculation that the actor’s recent box office struggles may have played a role, potentially making it difficult to secure funding for the film.
Bollywood Hungama earlier reported that Mitti is an action film being shot in Uttarakhand. Not willing to speak much on the project, Janjua said, “It is an action drama set in Uttarakhand. It is a story about guilt, about living with the baggage of guilt. It is the story of saving your home and your zameen, your mitti. It is about family and relationships.”
Besides this, rumours are rife that Sidharth will soon be reuniting on screen with his actress-wife Kiara Advani for a romantic comedy. The film will mark which will mark their first movie together since their wedding in February 2023.
