Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi got engaged in June earlier in an intimate ceremony in Hyderabad. While Varun and Lavanya’s fans have been eager in anticipation for them to announce their wedding date, looks like the couple’s nuptials will take place soon. This speculation comes after megastar Chiranjeevi took to his Instagram on Saturday to share glimpses of the couple’s “pre-wedding celebrations”.
Talking to his Instagram, Chiranjeevi dropped some pictures from Varun and Lavanya’s pre-wedding celebrations from Friday night. Chiranjeevi captioned the post, “About Last evening .. Pre Wedding Celebrations of @varunkonidela7 & @itsmelavanya #MomentsToCherish.”

In one photo, the to-be-married couple sat in the centre as their huge family surrounded them at the dinner table. The table itself was decked up with yellow flowers and decadent foliage interspersed with lavender. Lavanya matched the yellow flowers in a beautiful salwar suit set with white detailing. Meanwhile, Varun looked dapper in a sheer black shirt with white patterns, which he paired with black denims.
The photo also featured Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in the back, who twinned with button-down shirts. While Chiranjeevi sat at the table, Ram Charan stood in a different corner, taking care of the family’s beloved pooch.
In another photo, Chiranjeevi and his wife posed with Varun and Lavanya at the entrance of their home. The entrance was also decorated with orange marigolds and blue hydrangeas. However, some fans noted that Ram Charan’s daughter Klin Kaara, uncle Pawan Kalyan and cousin Allu Arjun were missing from the photos.
One person wrote, “Me who is searching for Allu Arjun.” Another added, “Where is Klin Kaara .” One person commented, “Happy to see so many people…. But my heart feels that Kalyan Babu is not there .” To this, one person replied, “Pawan Kalyan on public service and Allu Arjun on fans service (Pushpa-2).”
Meanwhile, Varun and Lavanya are yet to announce their wedding date.
