Hrithik Roshan Vs Kartik Aaryan At Box Office? War 2 Likely To Clash With Karan Johar's Film

Looks like Kartik Aaryan and Hrithik Roshan – two of the most bankable stars in Bollywood, are in for a box-office clash. Fast forward to 2025, Hrithik’s film War 2 has reportedly locked August 14 for its release. A few days ago, it was also announced that Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar’s untitled next will be released on August 15.

According to Pinkvilla, War 2 which also stars Jr NTR and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, will hit the big screens during the Independence Da weekend on 2025. Himesh Mankad tweeted, “WAR 2 TO RELEASE ON AUGUST 14, 2025 – GET READY FOR HRITHIK ROSHAN V/S NTR JR! #YRF is all set to bring the 6th film of #YRFSpyUniverse, #War2 on August 14, 2025. #HrithikRoshan & #NTRJr ready for an epic face off during the Independence Day 2025 weekend. #AyanMukerji directs!”

Earlier this month, on Kartik Aaryan’s birthday, Karan Johar took to his social media handle to announce his next with the actor. He wrote, “Kickstarting today with some special news on a special day! Extremely thrilled to announce @dharmamovies and @balajimotionpictures coming together for a film helmed by the exceptionally talented @sandeipm. I find myself elated to also announce the supremely talented @kartikaaryan as our lead for this story that will unfold in cinemas on 15th August, 2025! Kartik, happy birthday to you… may our collaboration only grow from strength to strength from hereon and never cease to create magic on the big screen. @ektarkapoor, being your friend is easily the best thing and now working with you will be no different!”

Kartik will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion. The film is based on the extraordinary real-life story of a sportsperson and his spirit of never giving up. Helmed by Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion also stars Katrina Kaif and Shraddha Kapoor. The film is expected to release on June 14, 2024.

Speaking of War 2, it will be the 6th film from the YRF spy universe. The recently releases film from the spy universe Tiger 3 starred Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan. The film has become a massive hit at the box office.
